PAMERAN TRANSMEDIA “PROTEUS” 9-11 MEI 2014

 

The photographers Despoina Kaipalexi from Greece and Ivan Udiljak from Croatia are presenting their project “Proteus” on which they started working from January 2014 while living and studying in Yogyakarta city, Indonesia. The project was inspired by the Indonesian language and it combines, Greek mythology, philosophy, physics and linguistics in an effort to determine existence nowadays and the way we conceive it. The presentation includes portraits of themselves taken by each other, as well as selfportraits, video, installations and performance. During their performance the artists are going to live in the museum for three days, twenty-four hours per day, interacting with visitors, or anyone interested in their project, through social networks.
